About Kaitlyn M. Mills

Who is Kaitlyn?

Kaitlyn is the third child of five, which should already tell you a lot about how driven, detail-oriented, and diplomatic she can be. She adores magnolia trees and sunflowers, planning tea parties, and wooing others with her Southern charm.

Kaitlyn identifies as a non-denominational Christian, operating from a “Love God, Love People” philosophy. Her core values—honesty, love, integrity, and kindness—permeate her personal relationships, but also her research in history and education.

Kaitlyn is proud to be a Scottie and a member of the Class of 2021, the Scottie’s Angels! Her favorite tradition is Pancake Jam because it encompasses some of her favorite things: breakfast food, music dancing with friends, and hot tea on demand.

About Kaitlyn’s Portfolio

This digital portfolio explores the intersections of my career interests, accomplishments, and learning outcomes, so you can learn more about me and my work as a Student, Artist, and Educator during my time at Agnes Scott College. My portfolio began as a digital space to reflect on course material in my first year, but has evolved to turn those inward reflections outward for others to learn from and enjoy.

On each page, viewers will have the opportunity to explore videos, photos, papers, and articles that I have written, presented, or performed in 3 sub-areas. The “Student” page provides special access to my research in three disciplines: History, Education, and Business. On the “Artist” page, visitors can view my pieces and performances in three genres: Music, Dance, and Digital Design. On the “Educator” page, I invite you to engage with my work in Arts Education, Internship Development, and Tutoring.
