Agnes Scott’s HIS 290 course introduces students to applied historical methodologies, where they create dynamic digital projects to engage, analyze, and present History to a public audience. In this course, I had the opportunity to curate a collection on the Education Department at Agnes Scott’s history. The timing could not have been more relevant, as the Education Department is currently being dissolved. The essay I have attached here does a great job of summarizing my experiences in this course as they relate to the learning objectives set by my professor. I thought it great to include, so you can see my progression in not only in writing, but also applying the methodologies discussed in class.
